My Photography

It seems to me that most people with photography centered websites all write “photography is my passion.”  While I don’t disagree with that statement, I love photography, it might be closer to say that photography is a fascination of mine.  I am fascinated by almost everything in photography.  The thought of capturing a single moment in time, the technology I use and how it does whatever I tell it to do, the way that light and shadows can completely alter the feel and mood of an image, or perhaps even create an image that does not exist to the naked eye in the rush of real time.  Additionally I am fascinated by the response people have to images.  Whether it be a portrait or an action shot or a landscape, the reaction people give to images is really something I enjoy experiencing.

So, I guess, because of all that I like to make pictures.  Mostly I make photos of my family, but when the opportunity arises I will photography almost anything.  I prefer photography people and I prefer to make images with emotional lighting, but it does not always work out that way.
